Handwoven vintage poncho from Peru. Very fine and densely woven stripes in natural colors of alpaca - coffee and chocolate browns, cream, and shades of grey. Textile measures 50” in width and 56” in length (28” when pulled over the head and worn). This authentic poncho was handwoven for practical use, not for the tourist industry. It shows some occasional marks of handwork and daily working wear.
